SQPs support the fourth OvertheCounter CPD Conference

Last night’s OvertheCounter CPD Conference in Carlisle was well supported, with SQPs travelling from across the North to hear four interesting presentations across a range of subjects.

The event, which was run in association with AHDA and AMTRA, was sponsored by MSD Animal Health.

Catherine Johnson, business development manager at TopSpec Equine spoke on the subject of Feeding the Laminitic; Alex Ashworth, a vet at MSD Animal Health, presented the company’s five-point plan for sheep lameness.

After dinner, Geraldine Simpson and Linda Dawson from MSD Animal Health gave a presentation entitled Clostridial and Pasteurellosis Diseases in Sheep; and Jonathon Doyle, national accounts manager at Chanelle Animal Health, looked at which active ingredients kill which parasite.

Simon King, OvertheCounter’s editor, said: “OvertheCounter is committed to ensuring that SQPs hear excellent presentations across a range of subjects and it was great to meet SQPs at last night’s event at Carlisle Racecourse.

“I’d like to thank the sponsors, speakers and all the SQPs that have supported this year’s four OvertheCounter CPD Conferences. To continue your CPD learning, there are modules online on this website and, of course, there are an increasing number of modules being published in OvertheCounter magazine.”
