    PATS Sandown opens this weekend

PATS Sandown, the two-day show for the pet industry, opens its doors this Sunday (March 27) and next Monday (March 28).

The event always attracts large numbers of dedicated buyers from both the UK and overseas, and this year offers even more opportunities for business.

The major players in the industry will be in attendance, as well as many newer or smaller companies hoping to catch the eye with innovative products.

Organiser Gordon Thomas said there is something for everyone.

Other highlights include the New Product Showcase and the ever-popular demonstrations from leading figures in the grooming industry.

Mr Thomas said: “There has been a tremendous amount of work going on behind the scenes to make sure that PATS Sandown delivers the widest range of exhibitors, new products and grooming demonstrations…all under one roof.

“There is so much to see and do inside the exhibition halls I would advise visitors to arrive early at Sandown Park in Esher, Surrey – the show opens on both days at 9.30am. We can’t wait to greet everyone.”

The New Product Showcase, sponsored by OvertheCounter’s sister magazine pbwnews, is a great opportunity for visiting retailers to see and touch the new products they will be stocking for the coming season.

More than 200 entries to the Showcase will judged by a panel of retailers for the New Product Awards on the first morning of the show, so the results will be known and highlighted throughout the Surrey and Esher Halls for the rest of the exhibition.

PATS Sandown offers free show entry, free parking, a free catalogue and many special deals.

There will also be a wide range of food available from all the various outlets and visitors will receive a free cup of tea or coffee voucher, which will be redeemable all day.

This year’s Sandown show takes on extra meaning as it will be the 25th PATS exhibition to be staged. To celebrate the milestone, a special drinks reception sponsored by pbwnews will be held after the first day of the event.

Exhibitors and visitors will be invited to stay behind for the reception, which will also be marking the 50th anniversary of Pedigree Wholesale, a regular exhibitor at PATS.

Pet product retailers and buyers can still register for free entry to PATS Sandown at www.patshow.co.uk where a full list of exhibitors can also be found.

    Opening times for PATS Sandown
    Sunday, March 27, 9.30am-5pm
    Monday, March 28, 9.30am-4pm
