The National Sheep Association has launched its official WhatsApp channel, providing sheep farmers across the UK with a fast and convenient way to stay informed and connected with the voice of the sheep sector.
The new channel will provide regular updates on the latest policy developments, NSA news, events and other important information, delivered directly to followers’ phones.
NSA communications and marketing manager James Saker said: “Our new WhatsApp channel is an exciting way for NSA to reach members and the wider sheep farming community quickly and directly. It gives us another way to keep farmers informed about important and relevant issues, wherever they are.”
With around 38.4 million WhatsApp users across the UK and more than three billion globally, NSA said the platform provides the association with an opportunity to reach a large and engaged audience through a channel that is already widely used by farmers.
Key features of the WhatsApp Channel:
- Real-time updates directly to your phone;
- The latest news and key developments affecting the sheep sector;
- Event announcements and opportunities to get involved with NSA; and
- Links to useful resources and important information when needed.
