Merial Animal Health has launched a programme of monthly webinars, hosted on its Nexus online portal, to support SQPs with on-going continuing professional development.
The webinar programme includes topical and seasonal animal health issues, such as planning parasite control for the grazing season, understanding lungworm, sheep lameness, and cow signals. In response to demand for business skills advice, webinars will also cover topics such as digital marketing and customer service skills.
Webinars take place on the last Wednesday of each month, except August and December when there are no sessions. Each webinar lasts for one hour, including a live question and answer session with the presenter. SQPs who are unable to view the live webinar will be able to access the content at a later date, but will not be able to pose questions.
SQPs must register on Merial’s Nexus portal (merialnexus.co.uk) to access the webinars. Signing up for individual webinars will ensure SQPs receive reminder emails before the webinar takes place. AMTRA accreditation and CPD points will be available on select webinars.
