Jollyes teams up with Uber Eats for on-demand pet food delivery

Jollyes has become Uber Eats’ first national pet care partner. From today, pet owners across the UK can order everything from kibble to catnip in minutes.

The new tie-up under the new ‘Zoomies’ brand, is offering rapid delivery in 13 locations, creating a new level of convenience for pet parents and their four-legged family members.

Customers in a five-mile radius of 13 Jollyes stores are now able to order delivery of pet food, raw food and toys in as little as 30 minutes via the Uber Eats app.

As Uber Eats’ inaugural UK pet care partner, Jollyes is offering deliveries across all four home nations from these 13 locations:

    England
    Ashton-under-Lyne
    Bolton
    Eccles
    High Wycombe
    Portsmouth
    Sheffield
    Willenhall

    Wales
    Cardiff

    Scotland
    Clydebank
    East Kilbride
    Edinburgh

    Northern Ireland
    Newtownabbey

Ordering is simple via the Uber Eats app. Just like other Uber Eats partners, customers simply fill their pet’s basket on the Uber app from over 2,000 items, and orders will be picked at their local Jollyes store for instant home delivery via the Uber Eats service.

Jollyes said the new service is aimed at Gen Z and Millennials, who now represent the majority of new pet owners across the UK.

The retailer said the tie-up with Uber Eats will be particularly attractive to the rapidly growing number of customers choosing to feed their pets raw frozen food.

Jollyes’ chief executive Joe Wykes said: “We’re so excited to launch our trial with Uber Eats and become their first national pet partner.

“The new service will allow us to reach more shoppers than ever before, more quickly than we ever have.”

Katie Hunter, head of grocery & new verticals at Uber Eats UK, added: “As people increasingly turn to Uber Eats for more than just takeaway, we’re excited to be partnering with Jollyes to bring an even broader range of everyday essentials to the app.

“From pet food to toys, it’s now easier than ever for owners to get what they need for their pets, delivered at the touch of a button.”
