Jollyes Pets is to open a new store on the Houndstone Retail Park in Yeovil this Friday (June 19).
This store marks its third shop in the south west, as the retailer already trades from Gallagher Retail Park in Bridgwater and in Smallway, Congresbury.
The store will be officially opened at 10am on Friday by Mayor Tony Lock and The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA), Jollyes’ national charity partner, will be at the opening, and a retired police service dog will bite through a string of sausages to mark the occasion.
Jollyes Pets said that the store has created seven roles and will be run by store manager Jason Freeman.
The retailer said that the Yeovil store will feature an expanded range of food and accessories for cats and a chilled and frozen raw food section, which is currently exploding in popularity
In addition, Jollyes’ exclusive “Zoomies” delivery service via Uber Eats, will deliver pet food and toys in as little as 30 minutes, to customers within a five miles radius of the store.
