Jollyes Pets has today (Friday, August 14) officially opened the doors to its brand-new 125th store at Unit 31, The Valley, Evesham WR11 4DS.
The first VIP (Very Important Pet) through the doors was local dog Jax a cockapoo, who wasted no time sniffing out the natural treats range in store and received a Lifestage goody bag to celebrate being the first paws through the door.
Performing the official red ribbon cutting was mayor Councillor Bill Kimberley and mayoress Cllr Mrs Celia Kimberleyof Evesham, alongside supply chain director David Stokes and chief financial officer Gary Temple, members of the Jollyes leadership and store team.
The store has created seven roles including a manager and deputy manager.
Jollyes Pets area manager Jonty Cornes said: “We’re delighted to finally open the doors and welcome customers on the red carpet to the new store here in Evesham.
“It was great to see so many dogs come and see their new pet store, including our first VIP paws through the door – Jax.
“The whole team here is excited to bring their pet expertise and value that’s been making a real difference to pet parents right across the UK.”
Jollyes Pets said the next set of store openings will be Great Yarmouth (August 21), Seaham (September 11), Sheffield(September 25) and Mansfield (October 6).
