Agrimin's Ian Hutchinson and Cat Sayer

Agrimin has moved strategically to strengthen both its board and leadership teams ahead of planned R&D pipeline launches and has announced a series of promotions and new appointments.

Cat Sayer will move from her current role as commercial director on the board, to take up the new role of managing director. She has a successful track record of developing international animal health and nutrition businesses since 2008.

Additionally, Gareth Stafford, who has successfully overseen the significant expansion of Agrimin’s manufacturing capabilities over the past eight years, will take up the newly created board position of operations director.

The Agrimin board has been further strengthened with the new appointment of Ian Hutchinson joining as research and innovation director, who comes to the company with a broad level of experience in successfully leading development projects across animal health and nutrition.

Terri Price will also join the board as finance director, with both appointments forming part of the company’s planned succession strategy as owner-directors Jamie Bennison, technical director, and Robin Jackson, finance and governance director, move to non-exec board roles.

The executive leadership team has also been broadened with David Bell taking up the newly created role of national sales manager, UK. Oliver Dillon, commercial manager, Ireland will also join the management team.

Mr Bell has steppeed up from strengthening the business in Scotland over the past two years and has a successful background in sales management, whilst Mr Dillon has led the restructure of the Irish business, driving expansion across both Irish markets in the past year.

Callum Harvey, who has overseen the technical team for the past six years at Agrimin, has moved across to the newly created post of technical manager within the business to bring further technical support to customers and the commercial team, as well as managing the technical stage of new products and some of the business’ international customer base.

Tim Davies, Agrimin’s chairman, said: “With some ground-breaking new products in the pipeline, our new company structure will strongly support our ambition and growth towards being recognised as a world leader in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of technical animal health products.”
