The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) and The Webinar Vet will explore the growing problem of pet obesity and the ways in which vets and vet nurses can help to tackle it head-on at an online event next Wednesday (October 13).
A panel of expert speakers has been confirmed including Professor Alex German and Georgia Woods-Lee from the University of Liverpool, Professor Thomas Webb from the Psychology Department of Sheffield University and John Chitty, co-director of a small animal/exotics practice in Andover.
Presentations will cover the range of pet species and will provide practical tools and guidance on how best to tackle pet obesity and how to communicate with pet owners on this delicate subject.
