Vetoquinol UK has achieved Green level accreditation with the national environmental accreditation scheme, Investors in the Environment (iiE), its highest recognition for environmental commitment and performance.
This milestone marks the culmination of a journey that began in 2021, when Vetoquinol UK partnered with iiE and earned Bronze accreditation, alongside winning the Transport Award for its progressive motor fleet policy encouraging electric and hybrid vehicle uptake.
The company advanced to Silver in 2024 and now celebrates its Green status in 2025, reflecting a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability across all areas of the business.
Key Achievements:
- 11% reduction in UK carbon emissions (2024 vs 2023), driven by initiatives in fleet fuel, electricity, and paper usage in our measured resources;
- 23% reduction in fleet diesel consumption and 10% drop in literature printing (2024 vs 2023);
- Ongoing commitment to reduction in electricity usage through office zoning and appliance optimisation; and
- Sustainable procurement practice overhaul in the UK team and future global initiatives to redesign packaging using unbleached cardboard from eco-managed forests.
Caitrina Oakes, country manager UK & Ireland at Vetoquinol, said: “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and collaboration of our entire team. We are proud to lead by example and integrate sustainability into every facet of our day-to-day operations.
“Our journey with iiE has not only helped us reduce our environmental impact but also inspired us to do more.”
