Stephen Dawson, secretary general of AMTRA, said there is still work to do for some SQPs in this CPD period, while at the other end of the scale, some are over accruing points.
Mr Dawson said: “With just over nine months to go until the end of the current CPD period, almost 2,000 AMTRA SQPs have exceeded the minimum points target, in some cases – well done to them, and keep going. There is lots of useful and interesting CPD out there. And if you’re not one of those, please think NOW about how you are going to gain the remaining points.
“Don’t leave it until the last minute: don’t be one of the 20 or so people each time who end up sitting an exam because they didn’t do their CPD in time. OvertheCounter and the magazine’s website (www.overthecounter.news) are always good sources or check the AMTRA website for more opportunities.”
Mr Dawson highlighted that there is more CPD available online than ever, either free or at a moderate cost, which offer significant time and travel cost savings.
