Pets at Home spreads the love with £350,000 charity donation this Valentine’s Day

This Valentine’s Day, Pets at Home is spreading the love by donating more than £350,000 in gift vouchers to its 700-plus charities across the UK involved in the Lifelines scheme.

Lifelines is a charitable scheme, by Pets at Home, that allows its customers to directly support animal charities. Every time a customer swipes their Pets Club loyalty card while shopping, Lifelines points are collected and converted by Pets at Home into gift vouchers, which are donated to charities involved in the scheme.

These vouchers can be redeemed by the charities in Pets at Home stores to purchase essential supplies like pet food, bedding, and other vital resources needed to care for animals.

For the first time, every charity involved – regardless of their size – will receive a £500 Lifelines gift voucher today (February 14), which can be redeemed in any Pets at Home store within six weeks.

Anja Madsen, chief operating officer at Pets at Home, said: “At Pets at Home, we’re incredibly proud to support the amazing work of the charities involved in our Lifelines scheme, and are thrilled to be spreading the love by donating more than £350,000 in gift vouchers this Valentine’s Day.

“Since launching Lifelines 12 years ago, we are proud to have donated over £23 million to animal charities across the UK. This is our way of saying thank you to these charities for the invaluable care they provide to pets and their communities.”
