    PATS Telford still planning to go ahead in September

    Organisers of PATS Telford have announced that the show is still planned to go ahead this autumn. PATS Telford is scheduled to take place at the Telford International Centre on Sunday, September 27 and Monday, September 28.

    The show will be the first opportunity for suppliers and buyers to meet up under one roof since PATS Sandown in February and, with full safety measures in place, will offer a welcome respite from the traumas of the past few months.

    With still three months to go before PATS Telford opens its doors, more than 130 companies have booked their stand space.

    Paul Lewis, general manager at Just for Pets, said: “PATS is a great showcase for everything that is available under one roof. It gives you the opportunity to build relationships not only with suppliers but also other retailers, so you can continue to build your business, ask for advice and help each other out.”

    Sammie Hunt, the owner of Redpaw Products, Plymouth, said PATS is a must-visit twice a year for her.

    “It’s the best way to see and try new exciting products, as well as being able to meet the faces behind the companies,” she said. “It gives great opportunities to build working relationships, along with offering exclusive show deals. Without shows like PATS, we would struggle to keep up with the pet retail industry developments and trends.”

    The PATS team is keen to point out that the following measures will be in place at Telford.

    • All of the gangways within PATS will be three metres wide;
    • There will be directional and distanced floor-markers to enable social distancing;
    • Hand sanitiser points will be positioned around the show;
    • Face coverings will be available to everyone attending the show; and
    • Hall 3 is being used by PATS Telford for the first time to provide additional catering space.

    A full and up-to-date list of exhibitors is available on the website www.patshow.co.uk, together with all the latest show news.
