Spillers fuels performance potential with new competition range

Performance horses need the right feed to fuel their potential which is why Spillers has launched a new flagship performance range.

Three new feeds have been formulated especially for aspiring amateurs, as well as professional riders, and have been named and labelled with absolute clarity to make it easy for your customers to choose the right formulation to feed their competition horse’s needs.

Spillers Stamina+ Cubes are a low starch, super-fibre blend for a controlled performance. They are low in starch and sugar for reduced excitability, contain highly digestible fibre and oil to fuel endurance and have added pre and probiotics for digestive support.

Spillers Performance Mix contains a balance of energy sources to fuel optimum performance. Added oil supports condition and coat shine, natural vitamin E supports muscle and immune health and pre and probiotics support gut health.

Spillers Perform & Restore Mash supports optimum condition and recovery in performance horses. The fast-soaking mash assists hydration, added amino acids support muscle health and vitamin C provides immune support.

The company said that Stamina+ Cubes replaces Slow Release Energy Cubes and Performance Mix replaces Slow Release Energy Mix and Instant Energy Competition Mix.

Spillers product manager Sarah Nelson said: “We really listened to what competition riders, whether amateur or professional, want in a feed and are very excited about this launch.

“We have carefully formulated each product using premium quality ingredients and have named and labelled them to make it easy for riders to navigate the range and choose the product best suited to their horse’s individual requirements.”

The three new performance flagship feeds will be formally launched at the Badminton Horse Trials from May 4-8.

Spillers is also hosting a special webinar on feeding the performance horse with guest speaker Bobby Hayler on Thursday, April 21. The hour-long webinar will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and is free of charge to attend.

To sign-up, click HERE – a link to join the webinar will then be emailed to you the day before the session.
