    New products to be launched at PATS Sandown

    Products entered into the Showcase will be judged by a panel of independent pet retailers and retail expert

    Seeing the very latest pet products and innovations launched under one roof is one of the major attractions to PATS visitors, and this March’s show at Sandown Park in Esher, Surrey, is set to showcase an impressive number of new items.

    More than 150 companies and brands have booked their space for PATS Sandown, which takes place on Sunday, 26 March, and Monday, 27 March – and organisers said that they can’t wait to unveil their latest launches in the popular New Product Showcase, sponsored by pbwnews.

    Products entered into the Showcase will be judged by a panel of independent pet retailers and retail experts on the first day of the show to decide the winners of the PATS Sandown New Product Awards.

    There are nine categories in the New Product Showcase and past winners admit that winning an award can certainly increase the profile of the items to the trade.

    EzyDog UK won the Dog Harnesses, Leads and Clothing category at PATS Sandown in 2022 with its Friday Collective Corduroy, and the company admits the award was a great launchpad for the product.

    “It has increased visibility and credibility, which in turn has led to more customers coming to us and trusting our services and products,” said EzyDog.

    “The award has also enabled us to secure various partnerships with other businesses, as well as access new markets that we previously couldn’t tap into. Shortly after the award, we received an influx of Corduroy requests, including questions if there were more Corduroy products on the way!

    “We showcased the official PATS award through our social media platforms and throughout our website – it received a fantastic response from everyone online.”

    The Showcase is designed to help visitors easily find the latest and most exciting products to hit the pet trade, as they are gathered together in one, extensive display. There is an information card beside each product, giving details such as suggested retail price and where in the show you’ll find the item’s exhibitor.

    The New Product Showcase entries will be displayed under the following nine award categories:

    • Cat food and products;
    • Dog food products;
    • Dog treat products;
    • Dog accessories and toys;
    • Dog harnesses, leads and dog wear;
    • Small animal and bird products;
    • Pet care products;
    • Grooming products; and
    • Business services.

    A full and up-to-date list of exhibitors is available on the website www.patshow.co.uk together with information on how to register for free entry, how to reach the venue and regularly updated with show news.

    As well as free parking and a free show guide, visitors will receive a complimentary lunch voucher (available to those people arriving before 10am on both days) in addition to the regular complimentary tea or coffee voucher.
