Final preparations underway for record PATS show

Organisers of PATS Telford said the final touches are being made to the trade show, which will break new records for the number of exhibitors attending.

Around 260 companies will be exhibiting at the show, which runs at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire, on October 1-2.

Nearly 400 new products will be on display in the New Product Showcase, sponsored by PBW News, with the best ones, as chosen by an independent panel, to be recognised with a New Product Award during the first day of the show.

Further attractions at the show include expert demonstrations and workshops from top grooming professionals and the PetQuip-sponsored New Starter Zone, featuring 30 companies new to the industry. The annual PetQuip Awards will also follow the first day of the show on the evening of Sunday October 1.

PATS organiser Gordon Thomas said: “There has been a tremendous amount of work going on behind the scenes to make sure that PATS Telford delivers the widest range of exhibitors, new products and professional grooming demonstrations.

“Visitor numbers have been growing rapidly over the years and we’re confident the trend will continue this year. There is so much to see and do, and everyone can rest assured they will be given a warm and friendly welcome.”

PATS Telford 2024, scheduled for October next year, is set to be even bigger than the 2023 event following the decision to make it a three-day show and merge it with the previous Spring exhibition at Sandown Park.
