Beaphar has added to its anti-parasite portfolio with an updated Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray featuring a new advanced formulation, refreshed packaging design and a new smaller size, joining Beaphar Household Flea Powder which was added to the range earlier this year.
Containing tetramethrin, permethrin and s-methoprene, Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray is designed to kill fleas fast, inhibit flea egg and larvae development and stop fleas multiplying, while also killing ticks and crawling insects.
It is available in both a 600ml pack and a new 300ml size which offers an affordable entry option for smaller homes. The household range also includes Beaphar Household Flea Powder, which contains permethrin and has immediate killing action against fleas.
With 95% of a flea infestation found in the home, household flea control is an essential part of tackling fleas effectively. As autumn approaches and central heating is turned back on, dormant flea life stages in the home can become active, making autumn an important time for retailers to remind owners to treat the home as well as their pet.
New category research highlights the opportunity, with 80% of pet owners saying they would consider buying a household flea treatment. Flea sprays and powders both showed strong shopper appeal, with 53% considering a flea spray and 43% considering a flea powder.1
