The National Office of Animal Health (NOAH) has announced the election of a new board and officer team following the association’s annual general meeting.
Officers elected by members included chair Matthew Frost of Elanco Animal Health; senior vice chair Charlotte Covell of Virbac UK; past chair Ned Flaxman of Norbrook Laboratories; treasurer Andrew Buglass of ECO Animal Health; vice chair Caitrina Oakes of Vetoquinol and vice chair Rachel Smithson of Animalcare.
Also elected at the AGM were board members Craig Beck (Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK); Henrique Casagrande (MSD Animal Health); Nikki Milne (Bimeda UK) and Lloyd Smart (Zoetis UK). In addition, Vicky Sumpter was re-elected to the NOAH Code of Practice Committee.
The newly elected board will support delivery of NOAH’s strategic priorities on advocacy, responsible use of veterinary medicines, innovation, sustainability, industry standards, and stakeholder engagement.
NOAH chief executive Dawn Howard said: “I would like to congratulate all those elected and re-elected to the board and officer team and thank everyone who stood for election. NOAH benefits enormously from the expertise, experience, and commitment of member company representatives who volunteer their time to help shape the future direction of the Association.
