Jollyes to open self-service dog wash stations in first four stores

Jollyes will open innovative ‘Wash & Go’ dog-wash stations at four stores across the UK from tomorrow (February 7).

For just £5, Jollyes’ new pet cleaning stations will provide a full clean-up for mucky pups without the hassle of messing up a home bathroom, with the new units set on free vend until Valentine’s Day.

The stores receiving the new doggy clean-up stations this Friday are Colchester, Bolton, Harlow and Plymouth. A Wash and Go in Selby will follow in the coming months.

Existing Wash & Go units are located at stores in Scunthorpe, Enfield, Newport (Isle of Wight), Totton and Waterlooville and will be receiving upgrades to new units later this year, but will also offer free doggy wash-ups for the next week.

The Wash & Go stations are simple to use. Owners simply put their dog into the big bath and, just like at the garage when cleaning their car on the forecourt, swipe their card on the machine for up to 15 minutes of cleaning power, depending on the size of the dog.

Jollyes said the cleaning stations have been trialled in five stores and are particularly popular with dog walkers who want to avoid the hassle of washing their pooches at home after particularly muddy rambles.

Jollyes’ Phil Turner-Naylor said: “As every dog owner knows, after a muddy walk you know cleaning your canine’s going to be a messy job.

“Our new Wash & Go stations will keep your home bathroom pristine and they’re just as easy to use as a self-service car wash.”
