The Pupcast, a podcast from Natures Menu, has started its second series.
The podcast’s latest guest is Sarah Parker, who has one fully trained assistance dog and two dogs that are currently in training, and is no stranger to fostering a positive relationship when introducing pups to new people, animals and situations.
Sarah discusses her top tips on approaching new introductions (whether it’s children, other humans or pets), and helps owners understand more about the triggers for aggressive behaviour and which breeds may be best suited to busy households.
The Pupcast aims to guide dog owners through all stages of their puppy’s development. This is of increasing importance with 3.2 million people buying a pet during lockdown, and research revealing that 22% found looking after their pup more difficult than they thought!
