SQPs visiting this month’s BETA International equestrian and outdoor trade show are invited to take their seats for a range of free seminars.

The presentations will take place at The Charles Owen Spotlight on each of the show’s three days, with some offering CPD points.

‘Prescribing for Horses and Inspections Update – What an SQP Needs to Know’ with Christine Paine, of the Veterinary Medicines Directorate, allows SQPs to gain up to eight CPD points at the AMTRA-approved seminar, which takes place on both Sunday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 22.

Also on the Tuesday, retailers can gain four CPD points in ‘Nutritional Support of a Calm Outlook’ with NAF’s Kate Hore, exploring the influence of diet on equine behaviour.

Show organiser Claire Thomas said: “Top-class seminars by industry experts offer a fantastic opportunity for retailers to top up their industry knowledge. This year’s sessions offer something new and fresh.”
